It all started for Ian in the 1980s when music was diverse. Soft Rock, electronic, new romantic, pop, euro-dance, reggae, you name he loved it. Ian’s interests were always dance, high-energy songs, especially euro-pop. He started as a presenter on Hospital radio in the UK and was trained at BBC Radio Manchester and then helped out on Piccadilly Radio. Ian’s main passion has always been music and radio and he was fascinated with radio presenters like Steve Wright, Pat Sharp amongst others. Through the years Ian worked for a few radio stations and then moved to Spain to new pastures. As a born entertainer I fell back into this line of work again and continued to be an entertainments manager at a hotel in Benidorm and a children's entertainer and singer. This he loved but as we said his passion was always radio, it’s in his blood! He worked for a few radio stations in the area presenting breakfast shows, and he managed 2 successfully until he moved back to the UK. Spain has always had a special place in Ian’s heart and now he is back in Benidorm, presenting the Late Late Breakfast show on Hot FM. Ian says “It’s a great buzz and a great feeling to connect with my listeners by having fun on the radio, playing awesome feel-good music and lifting people's spirits in these challenging times.
